STEP 1
First, you need to look at the behavior that you want to change, and then structure this change as a goal that they want to achieve.
Make sure that this is a SMART goal: one that is Specific, Measurable, Attainable, Realistic, and Time-bound.
STEP 2
Explore Current Reality – Next, describe your current reality. This is an important step. Too often, people try to solve a problem or reach a goal without fully considering their starting point, and often they’re missing some information that they need in order to reach their goal effectively.
As you describe your current reality, the solutions may start to emerge.
STEP 3
Once you explored the current reality, it’s time to determine what is possible – meaning all of the possible options for reaching their objective. I will help you brainstorm as many good options as possible. Then, discuss the ones you feel are best for you. In the process you will discover so much about yourself.
STEP 4
Establish the Will & take Action – By examining the current reality and exploring the options, you will now have a good idea of how you can achieve your desired goals.
That’s great – but in itself, this may not be enough. The final step is for you to commit to specific actions in order to move forward toward with goal. In doing this, you will have the inner drive and inspiration to take action.
STEP 5
Live with passion: Steve Jobs once said, “People with passion can change the world.” There is going to be hard work and difficulty in any pursuit. Just remember to ask yourself, “Is my vision more powerful than the obstacles at hand?” Even if there are moments when you don’t believe it, find a way to say “yes.”
Inspire Other: Teach others what you have learnt by sharing your knowledge and experience. Not only will you be spreading good will and benefit for your transformation, you’ll be challenging yourself to re-think how you do life.
Don’t forget to laugh: Love! Laugh! Live! If you are serious about your professional life, chances are that you will putting yourself in stressful situations. Learning to laugh through difficult times, and even at yourself, is a great way to keep a well-rounded perspective. Incorporation some laughter is always a wholesome little boost for your day.
Be grateful: Gratitude is the fertilizer for all your dreams, everyday look for three things to be grateful about. This helps you see success around you and gives you positive vibe and energy, therefore you become a magnet of wonderful things.
Follow these tips and you’ll find yourself increasingly happy to be doing the work you love. Others will notice your attitude and will be drawn into your success as well. Enjoy the journey and the destination will be there for you.
